About
The Polish-Japanese seminar has become a tradition connecting scientists from both countries for over 25 years. The thirteenth edition of the seminar is organized by the Institute of Materials Engineering, the University of Silesia in Katowice on 25-28 September 2022 in Ustroń, Poland.
The seminar inscribes thematically into a very narrow field of materials research, which uses techniques that allow to analyze the structure of materials and the description of their properties occurring in micro and/or nanometric areas. A special area of interest is focused on the development of new research methods, scientific instruments dedicated for research in atomic scale as well as potential applications of materials structured in micro- and nanoscale.
